HOORAY FOR THE FOLLOWING ARGUMENTS THAT NEVER MAKE ME WANT TO COMMIT SUICIDE

- all the music of today sucks, or, at the very least, is not as good as the music we used to have when I was younger

- someone once said/did something I disagree with, and therefore nothing they say should be believed

- your suggestion goes against the way we have done things in the past or the way a slight majority of us believe we should do them now and thus has no merit

- your suggestion has never been tried before and so it must be wrong

- my suggestion has never been tried before and so it must be right

- if you laugh at that joke, you must hate (minority group)

- if you say that my joke is offensive to (minority group), you are a fascist

- there may not actually be anything wrong with what you are doing, but there are people who think that it's wrong, and so you should stop doing it so as to preserve the appearance that those people are right

- if you can't guess why I am angry with you, you are not only wrong but also stupid
