time for a beatin'

Did...did you know that there's something called the International Fight League? And that it's a mixed-martial-arts team competition? That, in other words, it's a competitive team sport where people beat each other up? And that it's owned by Gareb Shamus, the jackass who runs Wizard magazine? And that the teams have hilarious names like the San Jose Razorclaws, the Quad City Silverbacks, and the Tucson Scorpions? And that they don't live, train, or even fight in the cities they are named after? And that their matches are carried on FOX Sports? And that when the league -- which features, like all mixed-martial-arts competitions, burly dingalings who beat the shit out of each other and win matches by applying moves like the "naked rear choke" to their opponents -- first appeared earlier this year, the guy who runs it was forced to make a public apology to fans and journalists because they -- the mixed-martial-arts fans and journalists -- said the league "glorified violence and brutality"?

You did?

Okay, carry on then.
