that's that

Pro Ducktive

Christ, I've been busy! I've been busier than a caffeinated immigrant beaver! I've been so busy, I can't listen to Pink Floyd's "Time" all the way through! I've been so busy, I haven't even played Guitar Hero 2 all weekend! Oooh, that IS busy.

What I have done this weekend: three music reviews. Lots of housecleaning. Some shopping. A visit to my mom's place to help her move some furniture. Not enough sleeping, never enough of that. Various vows that will end up broken. Phone calls. Setting up interviews with filmmakers and musicians. Writing: on one of three freelance assignments I have at the moment, and some personal stuff, of which I'm trying to do much more. Watching baseball. Reading: this, this and this, and not the new Harry Potter books, sorry folks. Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-inking.

Who wants to hang out with me in Chicago? Who spends too much money on geeky Neighborhoodies? Who knew that Frank Miller designed the well-known cover to the Penguin Classics edition of Gravity's Rainbow? Who else got a lot done this weekend? Who's out of their goddamn mind?
hmph
