wasted AND stoned

Wasted weekend

Things I did this weekend:

1. Spent a large amount of time being really, really sick. Some vile illness is circulating around the Yellow Rectangular Border Publishing offices (one of my co-workers has developed walking pneumonia, so much less sassy than rockin' pneumonia), and it caught up to me on Friday. I tried to just sleep as much as possible, but my new best friend insomnia was over for another visit, so I spent most of the time awake and miserable.

2. Freelancing. Freelancing. Freelancing.

3. Got news of a possible project that would be interesting and lucrative, and require a visit to Hollywood. Those are the upsides. The downsides would be working with someone who I kinda hate, and also the fact that this project actually has about a one in a hundred chance of actually happening. We'll see.

4. Bought drug paraphernalia and a book on Texas ghost towns. Contemplated ways in which these two things could be combined.

5. Nothin'.
