Go to their next show (first Thursday and Friday in November), or go tonight for a repeat of last night's fun, Chicago. We alls allus beef about how there's no support for local performers and talented people in the community; so here's some for your ass. Quit beefin' and start showin'; it's a good time had by all.
(Also: I gave Lara and Jeff a ride home after the show, and on the way back to my car, some dude drove past us an shouted "WEIRDOS!". Which is odd, because I don't think we, as a group, looked particularly weird, or at least no more so than usual. Perhaps he thought the musical instrument cases looked odd. Perhaps, as thaitea hypothesizes, he was just representin' Logan Square against an incursion by the IP Posse of Albany Park/St. Ben's. Or perhaps he was sickened by the sight of a group of people led by a man who was, earlier in the evening, ogling a clown. All seem plausible.)
