Whorin'

If you didn't read my dispatches from CPAC when they went up at Sadly, No!, here's another chance: an abbreviated version, dealing largely with my experience of the speeches by George Bush, Dick Cheney, Mitt Romney and John McCain, is featured on the front page of Alternet all weekend. Enjoy.

In other whorin' news, this month's Metal Edge features a cover story by me, wherein I interview musician/filmmaker Rob Zombie and discover the depth of his hatred of the record industry; next week's Screengrab at Nerve.com will feature much of my coverage of the South By Southwest Film Festival; I should have a piece on the origins of Tex-Mex in the next issue of Food & Wine; and readers of Supermarket News will no doubt have already enjoyed my terrifying article on the recent huge global jump in food prices.

There should be some vaguely interesting announcements appearing in this space in the next six months or so.
